HEY YOU!
YES, you.
DON’T YOU SCROLL PAST ME, DON’T YOU DARE. You do follow a person with this handsome face after all.Anyway, this is an intriguing picture, am I right?
I’m part of a project called We Are Untagged, and basically, we think that our labels describe us but do not define us. But now I’ve got your attention, check out our blog: weareuntagged, even give us a follow if you like, you know you want to.
Most importantly though, watch our video, and then…
GET UNTAGGED!
Hi, we’re Untagged! We believe that every single one of us has labels. Tall or short, fat or thin, gay or straight; any part of us can be described by them. Labels can be something we are born with or something we develop over time, and they are constantly changing. They are nothing to be…
So I saw the picture of Taylor Swift on Jessi/e’s body and thought “I’m not gonna regret this” and pressed play.
I didn’t.

This is our first video as We Are Untagged!!
Our labels describe us, not define us.
Untagged believes that everyone has labels, and that they are not necessarily a bad thing- they can make you feel a part of something, or give you common ground with others. It is the stigma that is tagged onto these labels (which we have cleverly decided to call “tags”!) that is often harmful, and can block your view of the person underneath.
The Untagged Project is all about removing the power from these tags and claiming back your labels so the world can see the person underneath.

Our Labels Describe Us, Not Define Us.
Hi, we’re Untagged! We believe that every single one of us has labels. Tall or short, fat or thin, gay or straight; any part of us can be described by them. Labels can be something we are born with or something we develop over time, and they are constantly changing.
However, sometimes these labels come with stigma or sterotypes tagged onto them (which we have cleverly decided to call “Tags”!), and these are what can begin to cause harm. They can lead our labels becoming so overwhelming they cover up who we really are so that it can be hard to see the person underneath.
Untagged is about removing these tags so that they can no longer be used as weapons against us, and taking back our labels so that we can once again take pride in who we are and reveal our true selves.
Visit our page for more information, to watch our video, or even Untag yourself by submitting your own photograph or video!#GetUntagged!
